Sweep Trajectory
The "Sweep Valve" and "Sweep Bolt" deliver air under and around the paintballs and offer you, the player, a new pinnacle in paintball accuracy. Traditionally paintballs were driven, poked forward, by the air. Like pitching knuckle balls, paintballs catching a seam made inconsistent shots the norm. To make shots consistent paintballs need some inherent rotation, back-turn being the best rotation as it provides for the longest and straightest flight. The Sweep Air System accomplishes this by smoothing the air path for very low turbulence. Then that calm air is released below centerline. The result is a ball with a slight gyroscopic back turn.
From APG October 2005: "Most markers make no attempt to control the paintball orientation or rotation when the ball is moving through the barrel. The pattern of hits is usually a circular pattern caused by random movement away from the "theoretical aim point". The vertical stabilization in the Alien Interceptor reduces the number of paintball curving sideways, giving an oval pattern of hits. Most players are upright when they are playing, so they have a long up-an-down and short side-to-side profile. The vertically oriented oval pattern matches playing conditions more often than circular patterns. Result: more paintballs on target."

Independent Ram
The heart and soul of any marker is its loading and firing principle. The Interceptorand the Remains are the only guns that use a "modular" concept. Until Alien, all ram guns put a round ram, with their four O-Rings, inside a big gun body with air passages cut into that gun body. Alien improved this design by combining the ram and manifold as one unit and then attaching that to the trigger frame and the (smaller) body. Structurally Independent Ram: smaller, lighter and stronger. Isn't that what you want?
85 Degree Trigger Frame
Our 85 frame puts your palm lower so that your fingers line up correctly. With other markers, you see players rotating their trigger hand down with their hand almost off the grip. Using the 85 Trigger Grip, players easily find the spot where they can rip. 85 puts your thumb lower, at the same height as your middle finger and aligns the index finger higher than your thumb.
45 Degree Trigger Frame
If you prefer the "standard" 45 frame, great, we make those too, but just for the Remains, at least for now. Which do you want?
